Generation Rights helps affected people by Bangladesh flood

The flood crisis in Bangladesh has reached alarming levels as of August 2024, causing severe impacts across multiple districts in the country.
We are raising money for people who have been affected by the massive floods in Feni, Chittagong and surrounding areas in Bangladesh.
My home village is also one of the many villages and districts that were affected by floods, villagers have lost everything and are sheltering under the open sky. The situation is expected to worsen, river levels already reaching dangerous heights.
The needs are enormous right now, but crops, poultry and fish farms have also been damaged and washed away, which will have a longer-term impact on people’s livelihoods and access to food as well. We are hoping to provide emergency aid as soon as possible, and long-term support to affected families.
I urge you to come forward and contribute generously to help those in need. All money will be given to trusted family members who were also affected by floods to disperse to the villagers to try and rebuild whatever they can.
